Could you please tell us a little about your book?

My book, A Layman’s Guide To Managing Fear", focuses on the main strategies and techniques on how to deal with fear and anxiety. These techniques involve cognitive and behavior therapy and also some Christian techniques in dealing with fear. The book goes into some detail on what techniques are most effective in different situations. A must read for anyone who struggles with fear and anxiety.

The Book is located at www.managingfear.com

Did something specific happen to prompt you to write this book?

I have struggled with fear and anxiety for over 15 years. I went to Penn State from 1990 to 1995 and I had a difficult time in managing my anxieties. In order to manage my fears, I kept notes on what worked and what didn’t work in dealing with my stresses. I would talk to professionals and read books and kept a record of all the techniques I used in managing fear. After college, I kept track of my experiences in dealing with anxiety and fear. Eventually I decided to see if I could get my notes published into a small book.

Who or what is the inspiration behind this book?

To learn how to manage fear and anxiety in my own life.

Who is your biggest supporter?

My family is my biggest supporter.

In the last year have you learned or improved on any skills?

My book marketing has improved over the years. Also getting various articles published in different magazines and websites.

Do you have any rituals you follow when finishing a piece of work?

Not Really. Usually when I write an article or something along those lines, I try to market it on the internet to see if I can get it published in different magazines or websites.

What are you currently working on?

I recently did some TV and Radio interviews which are listed on my website, www.managingfear.com I also write a lot of articles on how to deal with fear and anxiety and get them published in different magazines and websites. Please do an Internet search using my name (Stan Popovich) and you will see that a lot of my articles are on the internet.

What do you feel has been your greatest achievement as an author?

Getting my book published, having it read by many people around the world, and doing TV and Radio Interviews.

What do you feel is your biggest strength?

My personal experiences in how to deal with fear, anxiety and depression.
